I cover a lot of concerts and festivals for my newspaper here in Tampa but it had been about 3 years since I covered a show for radio station 97X. I was assigned to cover the Next Big Thing show in Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg. Like i have said before I am not a huge fan of rock or alternative music but in this year’s lineup two bands that I do like were going to perform.

Flogging Molly and Fun were two bands that I really like and enjoyed seeing them live even though if they were not the headliners. I have seen Flogging Molly a few times before but never have seen Fun. They both rocked and it was great to watch a show and make some photos of bands that I enjoy.
